TIMOTHY D. LAKE is a Partner of the firm in the Sherman Oaks office and Chair of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice Group. He represents insurance carriers on a broad range of coverage issues and related matters.

Mr. Lake’s experience includes:

• Serving as chief independent coverage counsel to a national insurance carrier.



• Advising insurance companies regarding Directors and Officers Liability Insurance issues.



• Counseling insurers on the development of new policy forms.

Several cases that Mr. Lake has successfully litigated for his clients have resulted in court opinions that clarified and elaborated on important coverage questions and exceptions.

Mr. Lake serves as a member of the California State Bar Insurance Law Committee, and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance Coverage Litigation Committee. He has also authored numerous publications on insurance coverage related topics and has been an invited guest speaker at numerous events in the insurance industry.
