In this hotly contested case, the plaintiff claimed that the actions of the defendants destroyed its business resulting in damages exceeding one million dollars. Teleseminar: California State Bar Insurance Law Committee

On March 14, 2012, Timothy Lake will be an invited guest speaker at a teleseminar sponsored by the Insurance Law Committee of the California State Bar.  At the conference, Mr. Lake will be discussing:

  • Moody v. Bedford which held the pre-litigation settlement of a wrongful death claim by one heir does not preclude other heirs from filing a wrongful death action;
  • Cyber attack risks and related insurance issues; and
  • An analysis of California Insurance Code Section 11580.9(d).
