Workers’ Compensation Defense
Tharpe & Howell, LLP’s Workers’ Compensation Defense team works with employers and their TPAs to quickly and efficiently resolve Workers’ Compensation claims. We have an experienced team of litigators and represent clients before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board throughout California. We also handle claims for discrimination under Labor Code section 132(a), claims for serious and willful misconduct under Labor Code section 4553, ADA issues, subrogation, reconsideration, and appeals.

As a member of The California Coalition on Worker’s Compensation (CCWC), we are at the forefront of legislative developments and the ever-changing landscape of this dynamic area of law. In addition, because our Workers’ Compensation Team works closely with our Employment Practices Group, we are able to help employers navigate the web of State and Federal “anti-discrimination” statutes which are frequently implicated when an industrial injury occurs.
