Tharpe & Howell, LLP is pleased to announce that Frank A. Magnanimo has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Labor and Employment Practice Group.

Frank brings over 27 years of diversified experience in the labor and employment field. Frank’s practice encompasses a wide range of employment matters including the defense of wage and hour class actions, PAGA, as well as claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. Frank also provides advice and counsel to his clients and assists with the preparation of employee handbooks, anti-harassment training, workplace investigations, and related issues.

Frank is an experienced trial attorney and represents clients in both State and Federal courts, and in hearings before governmental agencies, in a variety of industries, including restaurant, retail and healthcare.

Established in 1977, the firm is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by WBENC, and provides litigation defense and business consultation services in a wide range of practice areas, handling transactional matters, as well as litigation, trials, and appeals. As a full service law firm, the firm’s attorneys specialize in multiple practice areas including general liability, premises and product liability, business/real estate transactions and litigation, contract disputes, creditor bankruptcy, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, workers’ compensation, and insurance coverage.

Mr. Magnanimo received his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, and his B.S. from the University of Southern California.
