FRANK A. MAGNANIMO is a Partner in the Firm’s Sherman Oaks, California, office.  He is an experienced trial attorney who represents employers in cases involving retaliation, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, harassment and hostile work environment (including claims based on race, gender, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, mental and physical disability, age and religion), wage-and-hour violations, whistleblowing, violation of the Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act and/or Pregnancy Disability Leave Act, defamation and fraud.  Mr. Magnanimo specializes in defending class-action and Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) claims.

Mr. Magnanimo’s experience includes representation of clients through trial in both State and Federal courts in a variety of industries, including restaurant, retail and healthcare, and he routinely assists in hearings before governmental agencies such as the DLSE, DFEH and EEOC.  He also provides professional assistance on administrative matters such as employee handbook preparation and updates, the implementation/enforcement of policies and procedures, anti-harassment training, workplace investigations, workforce reduction/layoffs, proprietary information protection, and unfair competition concerns.

Since 2011, Mr. Magnanimo has consistently been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer in the Labor & Employment Field in Law & Politics Magazine and Los Angeles Magazine.
